Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnostic radiology is concerned with the use of various imaging modalities to aid in the diagnosis of disease. Diagnostic radiology can be further divided into multiple sub-specialty areas. Interventional radiology, one of these sub-specialty areas, uses the imaging modalities of diagnostic radiology to guide minimally invasive surgical procedures.

Salary:  $379,790 per year    $182.59 per hour

Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school; medical residency.


-Radiologists are fully licensed physicians who complete at least eleven years of higher education, which includes an undergraduate degree program, Doctor of Medicine program and a residency. Additionally, all medical doctors must be licensed to practice. Many choose to become certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Yes I would like to be one in these type of career because I think it is a good career and also it is a interesting career that one person can learn .
