Health Educator

Duties and responsibilities: Health educators who work in medical facilities provide patients with information on their diagnosis and treatment, as well as tips on staying healthy. They teach group classes on health topics and train medical staff on how to communicate with patients. Health educators employed by private companies may conduct staff health screenings, design healthy workplace programs, or create incentives for employees to lose weight, quit smoking or increase their level of exercise.
Additional health educator duties include:
o    Supervising staff
o    Creating health-related materials, such as posters and websites
o    Helping people find the appropriate health services or information

Salary: $34,620 - $48,790
Education:  Health educators work in a variety of settings with diverse groups of people. Take your education to the next level by teaching others. 
Before you can find your dream job as a health educator, you must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree. Getting through a 4-year college or university can be tough, but it’s not impossible. You can go to school online, part-time, or at night. There are plenty of ways to stay on top of your studies, make money, have a social life, and finish school in four years.
