Cardiologists
Online research

Duties and responsibilities: Cardiologists are physicians who have received additional training to prevent, diagnose and treat conditions of the cardiovascular system, which includes the heart and the body's blood vessels. On a daily basis, cardiologists see patients referred by their primary physicians. These patients have conditions requiring the attention of a specialist, such as dizziness, shortness of breath and heart rhythm problems. It's the cardiologist's duty to diagnose, treat and manage the patient's condition.   The roles and responsibilities of a cardiologist can vary, but certain generalities are possible.

Salary:   $346,266 and $457,921 per year.

Education: Before practicing as a cardiologist, physicians must graduate from medical school, complete a residency and become board-certified in internal medicine, and then complete a fellowship in cardiology. Cardiology residencies typically last three years, and fellowships are a minimum of three years, making at least six years of training beyond medical school.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I would like to study cardiologists, because some of my family have a cardiologists or have a problems in the heart
